I ♥ Basildon

Artist Miranda Sharp is investigating the spirit of Basildon in her temporary live art installation project l ♥ Basildon. Miranda is using a combination of sociological techniques (participant observation), installation and performance to document Basildon in 2009. She is working with a number of local individuals and groups including Swan Housing Association, Sue Ryder Care, Laindon Community Centre and Basildon Market to develop a series of exchanges that uncover their experiences and ideas of place.
